He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Frank Bray; his grandson Dalton Colton; his parents, Chester L. Lohr Sr. and Thelma Lohr; and his siblings, Charlene Hansen, Mable Noeldner, Doris Lausen, Donna Borns, Darlene Becker, LeRoy and Chester "Chet" Lohr Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Olson (Scott) of Sioux Falls, SD, Sheila Bray of Ottawa, IL, Melissa Yunker (David) of Sioux Falls, SD and Amanda Lohr of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Zach Mulder (Christy), Logan Mulder, Paige Chlebek (Andrew), Levi Olson, Frankie Bray, Ali Bray, Mason Bray, Austin Bray, Savannah Bray, Nick Colton, Isabella Quintanilla, Remington Lohr and Gina Lohr-Lucadamo; the mother of his children Marlys Lohr of Hawarden, IA; and his sister Barbara Ries of Sioux Falls, SD.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
