He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold Anderson and Laura Anderson (Larson); his siblings, Woodrow and Doris; and his daughter Brenda.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Schaffer (Dee); his daughters, Rhonda Mellang (Clarence) and Deanna VanDerWolde (Ed); his grandchildren, Michael Mellang (Katie), Kristin Grimes (Mack), Nicole Muchow (Alex), Brooklyn VanDerWolde, Greg Pitts, DJ Pitts, Dwayne Pitts and Ryan Shadbolt; and his great grandchild Chelsea Mellang. He is also survived by 3 nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miller Southside Chapel (7400 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A committal service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery (25965 477th Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
