She was predeceased by: her parents, William DeVries and Ida DeVries (Bleyenberg); her sister Geraldine; her daughter-in-law Diane; and her husband Donald Matthews.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Matthews (Gloria) of Hartford, SD and Mark Matthews (Tammy) of Surprise, AZ.; her brother Glen DeVries of Pipestone, MN; and her grandchildren, Michael Matthews and Megan Konrad (Kyle). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
