He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton "Max" Bayer and Sylvia Nelson; and his sister Betty Bayer Cottingham. He is survived by: his sister Bonnie McKee of Sioux Falls; his nephew Shon; and his nieces, Robin and Staci.
