He is survived by: his parents, Larry Weide and Deb Vander Weide (Schouten) of Sioux Center, IA; his son Miles of Sioux Falls, SD; his partner Jen Pfeiffer (Sandvig) of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Sherri Wolfswinkel (Jerry) of Carmel, IA, Dan Vander Weide (Corrina) of Orange City, IA, Doug Vander Weide (Heather) of Savage, MN, Sheila Harp (Blair) of Alton, IA, Amy Baum of Albany, NY and Lee Vander Weide (Matthew) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his grandmother Millie Vander Weide of Sioux Center, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and more friends.
