She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Markle and Maude Markle (Stukey); her husband Howard Severson; and her siblings, Gertrude McFarlane, Guy Markle, Mabel Eidshiem, Dorothy Eliason, Cecil Markle, Hazel Aashiem, Lura Jones, Donald Markle, Lucille Eliason and Maxine Bresee.
She is survived by: her daughter Kara Mathis; her son-in-law Jim of Sioux Falls, SD; and her pet Tonic. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to the Ronald McDonald House of South Dakota.
