With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bret Songstad of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon Songstad and Barbara Songstad; his close friend Jon "Bonz" Mathison; and his sibling's children, Jon Songstad and Sommer Songstad.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Isaac Harris, Jr., Jayda Harris, Cecilia Selde and William Selde; Richard Songstad (Patty), Robert Songstad, Zoey North (Doug), Ike Harris, Lowell Groeneweg, Sheena Rogerson, Steve Rogers, Jeff Krell, Monica Holtrop, John, Sharon Egan, Tonisha and Aryia Koerner.
