He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Edelman and Ruby Edelman (Johnson); his stepfather Victor Lehr; his brother Royce Edelman (Kathy); and his nephew Trevor Edelman.

He is survived by: his brothers, Doug Lehr (Heather) and Dale Lehr (Shelley); his nieces and nephews, Logan Lehr (Michelle), Garret Lehr, Caitlyn Lehr, Victoria Lehr and Allison Lehr; and his great-nephews, Flynn, Otto, Asher Kruse of Menno, SD and Cade Edelman of Sturgis, SD..

“I was very sad when I was told that Brian had passed We got to know each other quite well in the last few years. He had such a sweet smile & peaceful disposition. He would always try to mess with me by catching me off guard by trying to startle me & I told him that he had the best "poker" face ever & he laughed.🙂 He always talked about how much he loved his family & helping people where he worked. I was blessed to be able to spend time with him. Brian you will never be forgotten.”
