It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Leyland-Jones (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reginald Jones and Winifred Leyland of Telford, England.; his wife Melissa; his stepchildren, Abigail Myers, III (Thurman Ray) and Jonathan Maxwell "Max" Anderson; his grandson Myron Wyatt Myers; his cousins, Beverley and Anita; his children, Richard and Catherine; his grandchildren, Rosemary and Hartley Leyland-Jones; Brian.
He sat on several national and international boards including the Asian Foundation for Cancer Research (AFCR), NED Biosystems, Non-Pareil, Ratio and was Director Emeritus for the WIN Consortium.
