Carol Ruth Uthe Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 93, Carol Ruth Uthe of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph N. Ausan and Clara Ausan (Solbak); her siblings, James O. S., Ferdinand, Florence Gulbranson and Joe (Ferdie); and her daughter-in-law Peggy Uthe.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas Uthe of Sioux Falls, SD; her children, Craig Uthe (Joyce) of Sioux Falls, SD, Celeste Burow (Dan) of Sioux Falls, SD and Daniel Uthe of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Trent Uthe (Karina), Carly Uthe-Leither (Joey), Anna Uthe, Ky Uthe, Nikolai Burow (Serena), Jimmy Uthe (Emily) and Sophia Burow (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Luciano and Leonardo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A prayer was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the West Nidaros Lutheran Church (25403 471st Ave, Crooks, SD 57020).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army.
