With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Walleen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Mehlhoff and Luella Mehlhoff (Wagner); her husbands, Charley Miner and Joseph Walleen Jr.; and her sisters, Karen Garrett and Marlys Mehlhoff.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Miner (Leah) of Sioux Falls, Wanda Miner of Sioux Falls and Melissa Walleen of Sioux Falls; and her grandchildren, Adalea, Luella, Iver and Archer.
