He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Rogers; his brothers, Tom, Pat Rogers and Michael Rogers; and his brother-in-law Jerry Reedy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gayle; his children, Thad (Liz) of Sioux Falls, Mike (Valerie) of Addison, TX., Pat (Teri) of Sioux Falls, Tom (Carol) of Sioux Falls and Katy Sonstegard (Peter) of Sioux Falls; and his sister Susan Pier (Wayne) of Chicago. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
In place of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Avera Hospice or Bishop O' Gorman Catholic Schools.
