He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sundstrom and Julia Sundstrom (Jonnes); his siblings, Burdette Sundstrom (Lois), Ramona Blumer (LaVain) and Ardell Hagen (Wayne); and his son-in-law David Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anderson; his daughters, Karla Peterson, Mary Sundstrom and Amy Sundstrom; and his grandchildren, Kaija Peterson (Jeff Keenan), Natalie Peterson, Kimber and Ayden.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nathanael Lutheran Church (209 Dakota St, Alcester, SD 57001). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
