He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Marvin Berry and Shirley Berry (Broesder); his wife Susan Rang of Sioux Falls, SD; his pets, Max and Cash; his children, Arianna Schmiesing (James), Cole Fergen and Cade Berry (Taylor); his grandchildren, Kinsley and Kohen Schmiesing; his siblings, Ainsley Iversen (Chris), Allison Bolger, Andrea Soto (Hector), Paula Kruetzfeldt (Ralyn), Joel Rang and Richard Rang; his mother-in-law Karen Rang; his nieces and nephews, Rob Bolger (Allison), Joe Bolger (Michelle), Mikhail Fredrickson, McKenna Bolger, Devaroux Stanga, Trystan Stanga (Breeana), Garreth Soto (Allyson), Jaykob Soto, Olivia Soto, Randy Rang (Melissa), Kelsey Waltman (Jason), Kelly Kruetzfeldt (Amy), Kara Britton (Shawn), Derrick Kruetzfeldt (Paige), Darby Peterson (Lane), Dylon Bollock (Lindsey) and Abby LaMee (Matt); and his close friends, Brad and Brenda Clow.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Southside Chapel (7400 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, MN). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

In leu of flowers memorials may be directed to Susan Berry for establishment of a charitable fund to be established in Chris' name.
