Colleen Beth Metzger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colleen Beth Metzger of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on April 6, 2026 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John, Dorothy Uveges, Marson and Marie Metzger; her uncle John Uveges; her aunt June Williams; her cousin Nathan Metzger; and her close friends, Dorothy Kellogg and Donna Dieren.
She is survived by: her parents, James Metzger and Susan Metzger of Sioux Falls, SD; her sister Laurie Weidenbach (Brian) of Sioux Falls, SD; her pet Nigel; and her close friends, David, Juli Hosman, Terry, Sandy Peterson, Reed and Terri Strom. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, her whole world was turned upside down.
In lieu of flowers, consider bringing a new pair of socks to be donated in Colleen's honor. Memorials may be directed to: Sioux Falls Area Humane Society, Southeastern Directions for Life, or Avera Dougherty Hospice House.
