He is survived by: his cousin Dave; his wife Donna; his children, Jeff VanderKooi (Wendy), Mike VanderKooi, Sara Erickson (Kipp), Rachel Zoellner and Jon VanderKooi (Tania); his grandchildren, Brianna (Zach), Nick, Zoe, Tyler, Connor, Shad, Cade, Marika, Seth, Jordan, Riley, Logan, Kason and Cora; his siblings, Agnes Addink (Sylvan), Calvin VanderKooi (Nancy), Ben VanderKooi (Nancy) and Tom VanderKooi; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Sterenberg and Ken Sterenberg (Beth).
