He is survived by: his children, Dean Nelson of Sioux Falls, SD and Dawn Glaser (Terry) of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepchildren, Barbara Fogarty of Sioux Falls, SD, Carolyn Devick (Mark) of Nakomis, FL and Rudee Westphal of Blackhawk, SD; and his brothers, Bennett Nelson (Vera) of Cherokee, IA and James Nelson (Carol) of Davis, SD.. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 9 step-great-grandchildren.
