Daniel Lee Pierson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Daniel Lee Pierson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Daniel, born on January 6, 1945, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Pierson and Florence Pierson; his wife Marjorie; and his siblings, Jim and Marilyn.

He is survived by: his sister Deanna Powers; his son Darren Pierson (Mary); his grandchildren, Nicole Woods (Hayden), Ashton and Hannah Pierson; his daughters, Debra Pierson and Sherry Pierson; his grandchild Finn Pierson; his daughter Lisa Pierson; his grandchild Kim Pierson (Edwin Montes); and his great grandchildren, Mateo and Marco. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shalom Lutheran Church (1000 E Maple St, Harrisburg, SD 57032).
