Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Daniel Sterner of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 75, on November 26, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sterner and Ramona Sterner; his former wife Karen Peters; his siblings, Bobby Joe, Richard, Lori and Amy; and his niece Jennifer Sterner.
He is survived by: his son Dax Sterner (Alisha); his wife Jolene Janssen; his grandchildren, Rezner of Paxton, DJ, Kenzleigh and Audrey; his brothers, Pat Sterner (Janis) and Bill Sterner (Julie); his sisters-in-law, Janet Lingemann (Ken), Susan Raybould, Rosemary Weisser, Anita Blumenthal and Charlene Sterner; and his close friends, Dale Brown and Don Elliott.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
