He is survived by: his cousin Jim; his close friend Jim Merkling; his siblings, Linda Garland (Ron) of Scottsdale, AZ and Steven Peterson (Winnie) of Canton, SD; and his nephew Christopher Jurgens of Mesa, AZ..
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (7400 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
