He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Ann Kock (Kock) and Gilbert Smedsrud; his grandparents, Harold and Harriet Kock (Morgan); and his pets, Scooter and WhirleyGirl.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Schumacher (Sheri) of Valley Springs, SD, Kim Morgan of Valley Springs, SD and Howard Smedsrud of Sioux Falls, SD; and his friend Sharon Funge-McCain of Sioux Falls, SD.
