He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold J. Sampson and Mollie Sampson (Johnson); his wife Delia "Dee" Sampson; and his brothers, Richard and Donald Sampson.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Sampson (Victoria) of Highland Heights, KY, Anne Zimiga (Andre) of Fargo, ND and Timothy Sampson (Suzy) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his grandchildren, Spencer Sampson, Ashley Zimiga, Megan Sampson, Alec Zimiga, Natalie, Sophia and Isabelle Sampson.
