He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zweep and Catherine Zweep (Leichtman); his wife Flora Mae Voegeli; his children, Jerry Zweep (Colleen) and Fae Rogen (Ron); and his brother Lloyd Zweep.

He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Wolf (Ken) and Connie Johnson (Terry); and his sister Devonna Etrheim. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Zion Lutheran Building Fund or Norway Cemetery.
