With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Jean Devick of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Huizenga and Jean Huizenga; her sister Evelyn; her brother-in-law Chuck Nelson; her siblings, David Huizenga, Dan Huizenga and Beverly; her brother-in-law Jerry Peterson; her parents-in-law, Palmer and Violet Devick (Bakkene); and her close friends, Evelyn Kroger and Peggy Nyhaug.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Devick; her brothers, Frank "Butch" Huizenga (Donie Raye) of Sioux Falls, SD and Dennis Huizenga (Stacy) of Sioux Falls, SD; her sister-in-law Jeanie Huizenga of Algona, IA; her siblings' children, Mary Johnson (Kirk), Dawn Nelson, Tammy Hanson (Brian), Tanya Kruthoff, Christy Williams (Thane), Scott Peterson (Pam) and Toby Huizenga (Patty); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amber, David Hanson, Aidan, Lily Huizenga and Shania Kruthoff; and her close friends, Coy, Margie Long of Aiea, HI, Melinda, Kassey, Ben Green of Mililani, HI, Betty Fideler and Shirley Dahl of Sioux Falls, SD..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
