She is survived by: her children, Sandi Ahrendt (Randy) of Renner, SD, Denise Planteen (Eldon) of Canton, GA, Paul Karels (Shari) of Milbank, SD, Mark Karels (Bernie) of Hendersonville, NC, Lisa Greene (James) of Hudson, SD and Michelle Newell (Ken) of Sioux Falls; and her siblings, Marlys Hoffman (Virgil) and Denis Strei. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
