She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Beck and Agnes Beck (Weiland); her husband Jim; her children, James A. and Connie; her grandson Gerald; and her siblings, Roy, Marvin, Henry, Helen Dargen and Margaret O'Hara.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Jarding (Paula) of Humboldt, Cynthia Mergen (Wayne) of Dell Rapids, John Jarding (Jackie) of Humboldt, Donna Schenkel (Jim) of Brandon and Bob Jarding (Brenda) of Sioux Falls; her daughter-in-law Margaret Jarding of Sioux Falls; her brother Charlie Beck (Donna); and her sister-in-law DeAnna Minnaert. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James and Edith's memory through the Catholic Community Foundation of Eastern South Dakota where gifts will support the causes closest to their heart.
