He was predeceased by: his father Seth Osei Gyasi; and his father-in-law Jim Anderson. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Osei Gyasi; his wife Rachel Gyasi; his children, Lila and Bryce; his siblings, Victor Osei Gyasi (Mavis), Augustina Akwesi Asamoah (Daniel), Patience Bannie (Aaron), Felix Osei Gyasi and Violet Asabea (Joe Emmanuel); his grandmother Otoo; his mother-in-law Sue Anderson; and his brothers-in-law, Grant Anderson (Heidi) of Belgrade, MN, Noah Anderson (Amanda) of Belgrade, MN and Isaac Anderson (Shannon) of Belgrade, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts referencing the college fund for Emmanuel's children, Lila and Bryce, would be received with heartfelt gratitude. Contributions to the Hawthorne Elementary Ubuntu Memorial Fund are also welcome, helping to bring long-awaited soccer goals to the playground and to establish an Ubuntu memorial honoring Emmanuel's spirit and legacy.
