Though Fran may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her brother Curt; her sister-in-law Shirley; and her nephew-in-law Joe Husman. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Craig Alberty (Lyn) of Rapid City, SD, Kent Alberty (Luanne) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kim Alberty (Sandy) of West Fargo, ND, Lynne (DeWayne) and Beth Husman of Raymond, MN.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Benton Lutheran Church (46784 257th St, Crooks, SD 57020).
In Lieu of flowers, at Fran's request, memorial may be directed to Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota, ELCA World Hunger, or The Banquet.
