He is survived by: his wife Gloria Van Zee of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Rylan Van Zee (Tricia) of Sioux Falls, SD and Janae Marcus (Matt) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Dustin Van Zee (Jessica) of Holland, MI, Dylan Van Zee of Sioux Falls, SD, Julia Marcus of Sioux Falls, SD and Claire Marcus of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Elaine Visscher of Orange City, IA, Harriet Tobin of Naples, FL, Jerome Van Zee (Betty) of Rapid City, SD, Alvin Van Zee (Cheryl) of Corsica, SD and Ron Van Zee (Linda) of Omaha, NE; and his sister-in-law Judy Even of Sioux Falls, SD.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Sioux Falls Christian School or First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Falls in Garry's name.
