He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis O'Connor and JoAnn O'Connor; his grandparents, John, Grace O'Connor, Melvin and Hilda Gruis; his great-nephew Andrew Hanneman; and his mother-in-law LaDonna Balk.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne O'Connor; his daughter Melissa Ann Marie; his sister Gail VanderPol; his grandchildren, Connor and Taylynn Gronseth; and his niece Becky Kenyon (Ryan).
He became an active member of Those Guys ABATE, and the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF), and made countless trips to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, where he found joy and camaraderie among fellow riders.
