She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Miles and Rita Miles (Brown); her husband Marlyn Hanten; her son Kevin Hanten; her daughter-in-law Christine Hanten; and her granddaughter Katrina White.

She is survived by : her children, Terry Hanten of Sioux Falls, SD, Dawn Houg (Gene) of Sioux Falls, SD and Duane Hanten (Lisa) of Sioux Falls, SD; and her daughter-in-law Pat Hanten Duerr of Brandon, SD.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rest Cemetery (3808 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
