With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys A. Walker of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Reemts and Marie Reemts (Boelman); her former husband Julian Lawrence; her sisters, Joyce Wessels (Norman) and Dorothy Johnson (Ermil); and her grandson Michael Miller.

She is survived by: her husband Herman Walker of Sioux Falls; her children, Dean Lawrence, Julie Miller (Steve Natz) of Sioux Falls and David Lawrence (Marcia) of Sioux Falls; her stepdaughter Tammy Walker of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Steven Miller (Sarah) of Sioux Falls, Brandon Miller (Dru) of Tea, SD, Stephanie Sittig (Tom) of Denver, CO, Jamison Lawrence of Sioux Falls and Bradley Lawrence (Brianna) of New Haven, CT; her stepgranddaughters, Monica Swanson and Kristi Tallman; and her niece Linda Schoon (Dick Knapper).

Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Fellowship (601 W 57th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57108).
