He is survived by: his wife Linda Lu Hertel; his daughters, Dawn Schomaker (Matthew) of Sioux Falls and Katy Maxwell (Jordan Jones) of Bozeman, MT; his grandson Maxwell Schomaker; and his brother Donald Maxwell (Barbara) of Sioux Falls.
