She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Mallinger and Hjerda Mallinger (Loff); her husband LeVerne "Vern" C. Dahlum; her children, Lavonne Avery, Tamara Krause and Marc; and her sons-in-law, Mark Johnson and Robert Avery.
She is survived by: her daughter Eileen Johnson; and her caregiver Jackie Dulka. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
