James Siemonsma Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Siemonsma in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Siemonsma and Dora Siemonsma (Van Whye); his wife Mary Jo Siemonsma (Christiansen); and his siblings, Berneith Baumberger (Verne), Mary Alice Eichler (Frank), Harold (Magdalen) and Robert (Henrietta).
He is survived by: his children, David (Michelle), Charles (Silvia), James (Jana), Julie Weller (Randy), Steven (Angelique), Paul (Christina) and Regina Guinn (Stephen). He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and countless close friends.
