She is survived by: her husband Jerry Ackerman of Sioux Falls, SD; her children, Julie Hajek (John) of Lynch, NE, Troy Ackerman (Connie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lisa Rasmussen (Wayne) and Brian Ackerman (Jody) of Chester, SD; her grandchildren, Allison Hajek of O'Neill, NE, Amelia Ackerman Burke (Eric) of Lake Odessa, MI and Cole (Olivia); her great grandchildren, Colby, Collins, Theodore, Hollis, Everett, Knox, Quinn, Huxley and Kallahan; and her brother-in-law Ron Mielke of Sioux Falls, SD.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A wake will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (901 N Tahoe Trail, Sioux Falls, SD 57110).
