She was predeceased by: her parents, Marinus Koopman and Anna Koopman (Mast); her brothers, Kenneth, John and Marvin; her siblings-in-law, Sharon, Jean, Darlene and Ronald; and her niece Lynda Koopman.
She is survived by: her sister Elaine Dunkelberger of Sioux Falls; and her sister-in-law Donna Lesko of Mesa, AZ.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trail Ridge Senior Living in Jean's name.
