It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette Berge of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Bowles and Mildred Bowles (Flood); her husband Charles "Chuck" Lester Berge; her stepfather Walter Potas; and her siblings, JoAnn Park and Jerry Bowles.

She is survived by: her daughter Deb Gunderson (Steve); her granddaughters, Angie Bosma (Jon) of Bennington, NE and Joy Mohling (Cory); her great grandchildren, Cale Mohling, Cade Mohling, Logan Mohling and Brooke Mohling; her sister Jan Johnson; and her sister-in-law Carol Bowles of Denver, CO. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ava's House or Dow Rummel, designated in memory of Jean Berge.
