It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Van Bockern (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald, Joan Van Bockern (Grimm), John and Matilda Knauer (Mattie Roskam); and his uncles, Charles Van Bockern (Chuck), Brian Jager and Allison Bott.
He is survived by: his parents, Stuart Bockern and Karen Van Bockern; his siblings, Christopher Knauer, Joshua Knauer (Jennifer), Brittany Muniz and Mikayla Matthies (Trevor); and his siblings' children, Nolan, Dylan Muniz, Finn, Iris and Willow Knauer.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (4900 W 49th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57106).
