He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Johansson and Ivah Johansson; his sister Korrine Reger (Jay); and his siblings-in-law, Gary Turbak and Sharon Johansson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Johansson of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Jennifer Johansson of Sioux Falls, SD and Eric Johansson (Emily) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Isla and Paul; and his siblings, Al Johansson of Plymouth, MN and Janette Turbak of Missoula, MT.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the East Side Lutheran Church (1300 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
