Joleen Kearns Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Joleen Kearns of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Joleen, born on October 16, 1949, passed away on July 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse "Bud" Schieffer and Gertrude "Gertie" Schieffer (Boecker); her husband Mike; her sisters, Gladys Leise (Butch Leise), Cindy Eskins and Paulette Wieseler; her sister-in-law Pam Schieffer; her nephews, Chad Leise and Nick Schieffer; and her niece Jessica Eskins.

She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Schieffer (Betty) of Randolph, Nebraska, Claudette Wiepen (Emery) of St. Helena, Nebraska, Debbie Wiebelhaus (Brian) of Crofton, Nebraska and Sharon Oien (Les) of Yankton; her brothers-in-law, John Eskins of Wynot and Ron Wieseler of St. Helena; her stepsons, Mark Kearns of Seattle and Shawn Kearns of Portland, Oregon; and her stepgrandchildren, Isla of Seattle and Alder Kearns of Seattle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Centerville Nursing Home or to Ability Building Services.
