She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Burfeindt and Jennie Burfeindt (Johnson); her son Brian Wenzel; and her siblings, Glen, Wallace, Albert, Verdell, Duane, Lawrence Burfeindt, Margaret Kranz, Hazel Winckler and Ruby Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Wallace Wenzel of Sioux Falls; her son Mike Wenzel (Kimberly) of Sioux Falls; her granddaughters, Anna Melillo (Shelby) of Sioux Falls, Morgan Wenzel of Sioux Falls, Megan Zacher of Sioux Falls and Autumn Dammann (Rusty) of Mitchell, SD; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Nixon, Ella, Oakley, Bexley and Griffin.
