The memory of Judith Gerig of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on June 28, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Fosheim and Viola Fosheim (Hand); her siblings, Jean, Pauline, Peter, Richard, George, Joey, Johnny, Vic and Roger; and her daughter Darcy.
She is survived by: her husband George; her sons, Fred (Diana), Joe (Kris), Toby (Michelle) and Corey; and her sisters, Edith, Tina and Ruth. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (714 N Grand Ave, Pierre, SD 57501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
