We announce the death of Karen Alma Stevens of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 85. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois and Gilbert; and her sister Margaret. She is survived by: her husband Robert Stevens (Bob) of Sioux Falls; her sisters, Sharon Bricker (Eugene) of Euless and Gail Bruflat of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; her children, Timothy of Sioux Falls and Charlene (David Paulsen); and her grandsons, Jake, Sam and Ben Paulsen of Cottage Grove.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (2200 S Western Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2200 S. Western Avenue, Sioux Falls; Good Samaritan Society – Sioux Falls Center, 401 West 2nd Street, Sioux Falls; or Hospice of Sanford, 2710 W. 12th Street, Sioux Falls.
