She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mehlbrech and Ruth Ann Mehlbrech (Rust); and her former husband Paul. She is survived by: her husband Redi Towing; her children, Elizabeth Van Vooren and Ben Van Vooren (Amanda); her grandchildren, Elija and Elivia; and her siblings, Charla Mehlbrech, Glenda Gaffer, Shirley Bell and Gary Mehlbrech.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (1801 Frontier St, Brandon, SD 57005). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
