She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hanson and Ruth Hanson (Peterson); her husband Marv; and her daughter-in-law Ann Widness (Kronlokken). She is survived by: her children, Bradley Widness of North Mankato, David Widness (Karla) of Sioux Falls and Kristine Woelber (Scott) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Jonas, Eddan, Bjorn and Johanna; her brother Norm Hanson (Jane); and her nephews, Peter and Eric.
Memorials can be directed to the Vermont Center for Eco Studies (vtecostudies.org) in honor of Kathie and Marv's love of nature and loons, or the charity of the donor's choice.
