She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Anderson and Marie Anderson (Phelan); her husband Leo Heligas; her brothers, Bert, Lon and Jerry; and her brothers-in-law, John Thompson and Douglas Kodet.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Heligas (Cari), Lynne Miller (Paul) and Lon Heligas of St Paul, MN; her grandchildren, Henry, Andrew Heligas, Lauren and Daniel Miller; and her siblings, Marcia Thompson, Jean Stowell (Norlyn), Rosemary Kodet, Patricia Little (Dan) and Richard Anderson.
Memorials may be directed to the Avera Foundation in support of cancer research and hospice care, Project CAR, and the Sioux Falls Humane Society.
