She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Smit and Les Smit; her stepmother Elaine Swanson Smit; and her siblings, Craig and Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her husband Jon Wehde; her sister Karen Swain of Traveler's Rest, SC; her brother-in-law Larry Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD; and her close friends, Pat, Jess and Karen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
