He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Schmuck and Martha Schmuck; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his wife Judith Sonnichsen; his children, Robyn (Sioux Falls), Tobin (Leo Niva), Terry (Stefanie Davis) and Jaymee Haefner (Greg Johnson); and his sister Corrine Handel (Freeman).
