He is survived by: his wife Bev; his daughters, Natalie Schafer (Scott) and Heather Gunderson (Brandon); his granddaughters, Lauren, Ashley and Corrine; his brother George Gunderson (Flora); and his sisters-in-law, Cherie Rudd and Mary Jo Hendrickson (Chris).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A masonic service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57108). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (401 S Spring Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
